Mr. Bovard consistently illuminates the connection between faulty political ideals and specific policy disasters.” The Orlando Sentinel wrote: “James Bovard, the American government’s most unfavorite journalist, has done all who value liberty a great service. He has meticulously documented freedom’s demise in America and set it all in its proper philosophical framework. There is an integrity to it, and it is always refreshing to find a man who takes his freedom straight.” The Orange County Register labeled the book “a modern-day libertarian classic.”

In 1993, Dr. Greer started an effort designed to identify firsthand military and government witnesses to UFO events and projects, as well as other evidence to be used in a public disclosure. The Disclosure Project is a nonprofit research project working to fully disclose the facts about UFOs, extraterrestrial intelligence, and classified advanced energy and propulsion systems. Their “Witness Archives” contain over 400 government, military, and intelligence community witnesses testifying to their direct, personal, first hand experience with UFOs, ETs, ET technology, and the cover-up that keeps this information secret.

In April of 1997, more than a dozen such government and military witnesses were assembled in Washington DC for briefings with Congressmen, Pentagon officials and others. Despite requests for open Congressional Hearings on the subject, none were forthcoming.

In 1998, Dr. Greer set out to “privatize” the disclosure process by raising the funds to videotape, edit, and organize over 100 military and government witnesses to UFO events and projects in broadcast quality digital video format. The edited testimony will also be appearing in book form.

His graduate studies included research in radiation oncology and functional magnetic resonance imaging of the brain (fMRI), the latter conducted at the National Research Council of Canada. He left the field of medical physics to work in cryobiology, and is the discoverer of the first synthetic molecules (“ice blockers”) that prevent ice formation in cryopreservation solutions by mechanisms similar to antifreeze proteins.

Topic: Suspended Animation, long a staple of science fiction, would have profound implications for medicine were it ever to become reality. A new ice free preservation method called “vitrification” allows for simple tissues and organs to be suspended in time indefinitely until needed for transplant. The same technique can be used to preserve large masses of tissue with remarkable structural fidelity, leading some to speculate that suspended animation may already be a solved problem if allowances for future technology are made to reverse the process.
